Shoo Ingrown Hairs don't bother me

Can I be honest about something...In my youth, I was quite possibly the worst shaver on the planet. I mean shaving takes sOOOOOOOOOOO long, and to get it done right, you have to take lots of steps, and the results do not last that long. It is truly hard work, not for the weak-hearted. All in all, it did not seem worth it for me to shave well. So equipped with the cheapest razor Walmart had to offer and some water from my local shower, I would swipe over my legs at alarming rates. Then, almost immediately, I would wonder why there was blood everywhere and irritating red dots.
Thank goodness this was NOT peak womanhood for me. And as time passed and I started listening to women around me, I was bestowed with more wisdom. Hallelujah, because someone had to help that chick; she was going wild.
Now, in this article, I will not tell you my whole shaving routine. If you want to know it, here you go.
(Also, I have been loving the word article lately because I just watched āHow to Lose a Guy in Ten Daysā and I donāt know what that has to do with my love for the word, but I will still blame it on that movie. Also, let's take a moment to appreciate how attractive Matthew McConaughey is, if only his name were easier to spell.)
Ok, I lost my train of thoughtā¦of yes, PEAK WOMANHOOD.
Let me just tell you the 4 HOLY GRAILs of ingrown hairs!
1. If shaving properly doesn't work, or you just keep getting those irritating bumps, then try FUR OIL.
Have you heard of this stuff???? I saw it on the interwebs, heaven only knows when, and I was like, fine, Iāll try it. Then I went to buy some and I was $20 bucks for a bottle the size of my big toe!?!? HA, what a joke!! SOOO I walked out...Then, like a day later, I bought some because those stupid bumps are SO annoying and I really donāt like them and they itch and hurt and...WELL I donāt know why I am trying to defend myself. You all know how it is, sometimes we just have to spend a little extra to get the result we were praying for.
ANYWAY, I was now out $20 bucks and praying this stuff would work.
But all my regrets and buyer's remorse went away the second I put that stuff on. Or, I guess more realistically, the day after the second I put it on. The bumps were immediately vanishing and my skin looked better than it ever has. Especially my inner thighs where all the wonderful chaffing and other not so attractive skin lives.
It was so good I bought the $50 bottle. And for such a heavy sum, it lasts a wonderfully long time. I donāt use it regularly because I donāt get as many razor bumps/ingrowns. BUT I KNOW I can TRUST THIS STUFF every time I need it.
So if you all struggle with this sort of thing to then. Let. Me. Put. You. On! Life saver!
2. I also really like the Topicals High Roller serum. This one is a little easier to apply because it is in a rolling form. And it is so nice when I want something quicker than an entire shower routine and oiling up my body.
I use this one on my armpits more because I feel like it keeps everything clean.
Plus, it is cheaper than FUR OIL, so I am more willing to use it more frequently.
3.My next recommendation I actually bought to brighten up my uneven skin and darker skin patches like armpits, inner thighs, knees, etc. But it had a great effect on ingrown hairs as well!
It is called Vanish PFB, and it works super well. It is also a roll-on applicator. It has Kojic Acid in it, so it is super helpful when it comes to brightening the skin. I couldn't be happier with how bright and even my hard areas look. Especially my armpits! I just love it when my skin looks healthy!
4.Her Fantasy Box Renew Her Serum is actually a product I have yet to try. But I included it because the reviews are amazing, and people seem to love it! I really like the brand and it is super affordable so you might want to give it a try!
