Well Well Well Hello reader,

I have a very brief introduction on my home page, but this is my space to truly get down to the nitty-gritty about me. Which is an expression I do not actually know the meaning of. ANYWAY! I started this blog because I love all things beauty, self-care, and self-love--and I wanted a place to write about my "findings" and my experiences. PLUS, lately, I have been feeling really sentimental about life, and I am not entirely sure why, but I thought it would be a fun idea to make a Y2K-inspired blog about beauty secrets and so forth. Kind of like a "Radio Rebel" thing, except I'm not in High School and I don't have a radio talk show and I don't have a dramatic identity reveal at any point and I am not going to ruin anybody's prom...I also have to be honest I don't really remember what that movie was about or how it ended. Nonetheless, I like the idea of having my own corner of the internet where everything about myself can be revealed without having to reveal everything about myself, if you can understand what I mean lol.

Plus I am a student right now, doing my thing, finding my next move, and living life--so this blog is a great opportunity for me to explore different avenues of my personality. And a great way to get away from school work and having to make sure I do things "perfect" or the way someone else wants.

Now you might be asking yourself if I am even qualified to run this sort of blog...yes...well probably. I don't know, what are the qualifications? WELL yes I am. Because I just simply am. I am a living breathing human and with a body that functions pretty similarly to everyone else's. And I try things and I try to work out a way to make my life more slow paced, aesthetic, and something I can be proud of. So yeah, I would say I am qualified to run this blog.

You may also be asking yourself, why the heck do you call yourself butter? Simple answer: Joe. Longer answer, but still simple: My hairdresser is named Joe, he puts in my highlights, he called my hair butter blonde once. I become obsessively attached to the concept because of my love for being blonde and for butter. So that is why I refer to myself as butter blonde. It is kind of fun to have a nickname online.

I am not really sure if I have much to say. I am just so happy to write down my life lessons here as they pertain to beauty and that sort of thing. I don't expect perfection from this blog, just constant learning. A new, freeing way to approach life for me.

Life is way to wonderful to not love many things. I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy writing it! And even if I am the only one who ever reads this (and probably my mom), then I am still super happy to have my own little corner on the internet where I don't have to reveal my face, dance, or make questionable decisions...but I digress!
