Those lips! Those dry, dry lips. Oh Honey.

Let's chat about what I have learned about my lips 🫦😏

FACEMAKEUPSKINGENERAL

Dry lips.

I am going to be honest with you all because honesty is truly the best policy. And this is my confession; I have never made it through a single chapstick in my whole life. I KNOW! How pathetic? I cry about it every night. Once in High School I got SOOOOOOOO close! But then I dropped the ball because I lost the chapstick... It is the biggest regret of my life.

Since then I have completely abandoned reason and continue to buy and try and odd amount of lip things. AND through my years of living in such a way, I have learned a couple things about my relationship with chapstick.

NUMBER 1: I do enjoy scented chapsticks, my favorite is cotton candy.

There is not much to say on this. I just bought a whole pack of a lot and every time I leave Walmart I buy a new one. In this economy it may not be the smartest idea, but what is the price of happiness?? For me its a million sticks of chapstick...πŸ₯Έ.

Here are some of my chapsticks...it is probably too many, but I haven't been told to see a doctor yet, so I will probably keep collecting them;

Assorted Flavors (Is it ok to call them flavors???)

EOS Flavors (They also have a cherry limeade one!!! Good enough to eat, but please don't eat it.)

NUMBER 2: My lips get super chapped if I do not use medicated lip-balm/ chapstick.

So all the flavors above I pair with a medicated one or constantly use them. Chapped lips is one of my least favorite feelings. And for this purpose I rotate between two different kinds:

Chapstick

&

Blistex

It is the weirdest phenomenon, but I have noticed that one year my lips will LOVE one of the two and get super chapped with the other. Then the next year it switches. Some years my lips will be good with both, and I pray I never see the day my lips get chapped with both! Because then I am back to the drawing board and you will see me writing about this all over again. And all I am doing is writing about chapstick...so I feel like writing multiple articles on that will just be too much. I mean there is only so much you can say about chapstick!

NUMBER 3: I really like lip masks at night, but only at night. If I use them during the day my lips get upset with me and start chapping. And it is so WEIRD because it doesn’t happen when I put it on at night. Maybe I'm dehydrated. But when I apply them at night I wake up with plump, soft, kissable lips.

But anyway, I digress.

MY GO TO is the classic laneige lip mask. Do y’all remember when Korean Skin Care routines were a big deal and everyone was getting parts of them or whatever. It was because of that that I ordered this lip mask. And I recently got a knock off version. It was from my friends baby shower and here is where she got them: lip masks) Honestly it is good, but it is nothing like the laneige. I do use it as a back up tho.

Also I have noticed the nights I put my lip mask on I do not need to use chapstick throughout the day. My lips are consistently soft. Even right now as I write this and am acutely aware of how soft they are lol. laugh out loud. It can seem like kind of a steep price for a lip mask, but I still have the one I bought years ago. And so far it is still good...I haven't grown any extra limbs πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ...but maybe one day.

Really and truly I would buy one if you haven't already! Because if I ever have to buy one again I am buying Laneige(:

You can click this sentence to find the exact one I use, so it can feel like you are kissing me 😏 (just kidding, gosh, it's a joke)

Well ANYWAY! Those are the three things I have learned about my own lips lol...I have so many chapsticks its insane, but it is also great because then I don’t have to drag any around with me. Just keep one in my car, in each purse, in my makeup bag, wherever. I literally just bulk order these from amazon which seems like a crazy person choice, but as each day goes by I start to believe I am a crazy person...But whatever I am rambling!

Sincerely your crazy, kissable lip lady,

Butter.
